Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Our busy, patient-focused physician practice in Peckville, Pennsylvania is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work collaboratively with an experienced physician while providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in a welcoming outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an office-based practice.
- Obtain and document comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Pennsylvania law and practice protocols.
- Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, treatment, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Medent experience preferred but not required.
